Getting the Most Out of Your Benefits

At Central Carolina Community College, we understand the unique needs of service members and their families. Get a college education, regardless of location. Earn points toward promotion or transfer credits toward a bachelor's degree. For service members and families—CCCC is here for you.

How to Apply for Benefits Through Veterans Administration

You can apply for VA education benefits by filling out VA form 22-1990 for yourself or 22-5490 for dependent benefits. Complete the online application and save a copy of the application with a signature page for the CCCC Veteran Services office.

Once you submit your application for benefits to the VA, Veterans Administration will make a determination of whether or not you qualify and the amount of your monthly benefit.

Processing time and delivery of your first check varies and will depend on the volume of work at the VA Regional Processing Office.

You Might Also Qualify for CCCC Financial Aid

Military Affiliated students, Veterans, and Active Duty service members may be eligible to receive Tuition Assistance to help with the cost of attending CCCC. Many students are eligible to receive both financial aid and VA benefits.
