Explore CCCC Transfer Partnerships
There are more than 60 independent and public colleges and universities to choose from.
CCCC’s transfer programs are designed to meet the academic standards of each university and ensure a seamless credit transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at four-year institutions.
Partnerships are the established agreements that CCCC has with four-year institutions to help students transfer. Although every college and university has its own admissions and transfer policies, and every student’s path is different, you can start by making a plan early in your CCCC experience.
Under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA), students who complete Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Engineering (A.E.), or Associate in Science (A.S.) degrees at CCCC with grades of "C" or better, can transfer all 60 semester hours of credit to senior UNC institutions and enter the system with junior status.
The Independent College Articulation Agreement (ICAA) provides transfer pathways from CCCC to North Carolina independent (private) colleges.
