With BetterMynd, you have access to providers from anywhere in the United States, regardless of your insurance status. So, you’ll never have to spend time or money looking for care, whether you’re on or off campus.

BetterMynd providers are licensed mental health providers trained to offer support and intervention for a wide range of common mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts and stress management. Your BetterMynd provider will do an initial assessment in your first teletherapy session and together, you will decide on the best course of treatment.

A major strength of our partnership is that we can now offer a diverse pool of therapists across the state and country. When registering and filling out the initial paperwork, you will be able to indicate specialties and counselor identities that are important to you. When you finish, the top 3 therapists that best match your preferences will be shown. You can expand the list to show every therapist in order of how closely they match your preferences.

If you do not have a private space for your teletherapy session call Student Onboarding and Success at (919) 718-7300 and we will work with you to make arrangements for you to have a private space.
