Therapeutic Massage Services
When classes are in session, the public is invited to receive massages by our students under the supervision of faculty at rates at a fraction of market prices.

Services
For those more comfortable in a seated position, a chair massage can relax your shoulder and back muscles
Light or deep touch with kneading and light friction
Massage directed toward the deeper tissue structures of muscle and fascia
Contraindications and precautions: Impaired sensation with certain medications
Headed stones blended into a Swedish massage to relieve stiffness and soreness
Contraindications and precautions: Blood clot, hematoma, cancer, diabetes, pregnancy, infections, neuropathy, sunburn or rash, heat sensitivity, impaired sensation, high/low blood pressure, bleeding disorder, phlebitis/varicose veins, autoimmune conditions, edema/lymphedema, open wounds, acute injuries with certain medications
Through suction, the skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the skin. The cup can stay in place for 5 minutes or blended into a basic massage style. Cupping helps treat pain, connective tissue, and muscle knots.
Contraindications and precautions: Blood clots, bleeding disorders, bruising easily, hemophilia, injured areas, infections, acute skin conditions, sunburn/rash, skin lesions, cancer, areas of herniation, hematomas, phlebitis/varicose veins, impaired sensation, edema/lymphedema with certain medications
