Pirate Promise (East Carolina University) Transfer Partnership
This program guarantees admission to East Carolina University (ECU) for students who complete their Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or an Associate in Engineering degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Please note that admission to certain degree programs are department decisions.

Program Mission
Pirate Promise is a transfer program for students who are in their first year of coursework at CCCC and are able to attend special events, receive advising assistance, and support before they apply to ECU.
Entrance Requirements
To be eligible, students must:
- Be enrolled as a high school junior in CCP (dual enrollment)/early college or in their first year of community college enrollment prior to applying for co-admission
- Commit to full-time status (taking 12 or more semester hours per semester)
- Submit complete co-admission application
- Complete the AA, AS, or AE degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Provide information related to immunizations and campus safety
