RDH Licensure

Professionals holding the RDH credential are Registered Dental Hygienists who have:

• Completed an American Dental Association CODA accredited dental hygiene program.
• Passed the Dental Hygiene National Board Examination (NBDHE).
• Passed the Council of Interstate Testing Agencies (CITA) regional clinical examination.
• Applied for licensure through the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners (NCSBDE).
