Students are encouraged to resolve concerns or complaints by first contacting the campus office responsible for the area relevant to the complaint. It is strongly recommended that students familiarize themselves with both the Policies and Procedures Manual and the College Catalog before involving the Ombudsman. In the event of a conflict between the College Catalog and the Policies and Procedures Manual, the Policies and Procedures Manual shall take precedence.

If dissatisfied with the initial response to their concern or complaint, the student may contact the relevant area supervisor, director, department chair, or dean for resolution.

If you have utilized the applicable college protocols and processes, and have exhausted all options for resolutions through campus staff and faculty, please use the Ombuds Request form to submit your concern or complaint to the Ombuds.

The Ombuds will review your form submission and contact you within five business days via the preferred method that you indicate on your form. If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to ombuds@cccc.edu.
