TRIO Student Support Services Referrals

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally-funded program designed to assist college students with academic skills and motivation to successfully complete a postsecondary education. The goal of SSS is to increase college retention and graduation rates of its participants. 

As a faculty or staff member, you have a unique relationship with our students. You have supported them through academic challenges and celebrated their successes. You have heard their stories. You know them best. That is why we need your help.

Are any of your current students in need of additional academic support or guidance? Do they come from a low-income background? Are they the first in their family to attend college?

If so, please take a few moments to refer them to our TRIO Student Support Services program. The program supports the success of 260 low-income, first-generation students and students with disabilities by providing a wide variety of support services. We also have $20,000 in supplemental grant aid to award each year to students in need.
