Employee Development Programs
Adjunct Night is offered at the beginning of each fall and spring semester to provide our part-time faculty with an opportunity to meet Central Carolina’s administration, learn about college updates, and engage in professional development.
Fall 2025: Monday, August 12, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Virtual

CCCC's Faculty & Staff Ambassadors represent CCCC at community events in our three-county service area. We provide information about the college and answer questions about everything college-related, from programs to financial aid. If you see us, say hi!
PROPEL (Providing Remarkable Opportunities for Promising Emerging Leaders) is a year-long leadership program for full-time future leaders at Central Carolina. The program is offered biennially and is limited to a small cohort of 8-12 employees. The next application period will open in April 2025.
New Faculty Orientation provides new full-time faculty with a comprehensive two day session at the onset of each semester followed by monthly meetings designed to foster collaboration, professional growth, and innovative teaching practices. The Fall 2025 New Faculty Orientation is scheduled for August 5 and 6, 2025, and the Spring 2026 New Faculty Orientation is scheduled for January 5 and 6, 2026.
The Carl D. Perkins Act aims to increase the quality of technical education within the United States in order to help the economy. The purpose of faculty mini-grants is to provide upgraded technology to Career and Technical Programs (including Health Sciences) to better teach technical skills in the classroom. The application period opens in the fall.
The Center for Organizational Excellence administers SmartEvals, the program CCCC uses for student evaluation of instruction. Students complete evaluations during the final two weeks of the semester for 16-week classes and during the final week for 8-week and 12-week classes. Student responses are confidential and anonymous, and the survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Faculty can access training videos on the SmartEvals website.

Employee Tuition Reimbursement Program
Our Tuition Reimbursement Program provides financial assistance to permanent and time-limited employees who pursue approved courses that enhance their skills and benefit the college.
- Eligible employees can receive up to $1,000 per academic year for tuition reimbursement.
- Courses or programs must be pre-approved and directly related to professional development.
- Employees must continue working at CCCC for at least one year following reimbursement.
- Reimbursement covers tuition and fees only (books, travel, and other expenses are not included).
- A grade of C or higher is required for credit-bearing courses.
- Reimbursement is issued after course completion upon submission of required documentation.
Employee Tuition Exemption Program
Our Tuition Exemption Program allows eligible employees to take one tuition-free course per semester at CCCC.
- Available to full-time, permanent employees who have been with the college for at least nine months.
- Covers in-state tuition and applicable fees (books, travel, and other expenses are not included).
- Priority is given to employees earning credentials related to their role at CCCC.
