Have you ever wanted to be able to make a simpe online game or a piece of digital artwork? Do you feel like you might not have the time or patience to learn? No worries! Scratch is just the program for you. It is easy to learn and fun. Scratch is a coding program that allows you to make games, digital artwork, storyboards, and more.
Because Scratch is free, anyone can use it. You can make as many projects as you like and be as creative as you want. All skill levels welcome!
Morgan, the Harnett Librarian, will teach you how to create an account, use the blocks, and show you how to make a simple project.
Interested in attending? Be sure to register! Seats are limited to 10 people at this time. Register here: https://cccc.libcal.com/calendar/library_events/learnscratch
If you can't make the event but want to particpate, email Morgan (mpruitt@cccc.edu) and she will set up an individual tutorial for you!
**Note: This event is subject to change. If COVID numbers continue to rise, this program may be moved to Zoom or postponed. **
