Central Carolina Community College's Industry Training Center at the Lee County Industrial Park is named in honor of Dr. Paul O. Howard and his wife, Dr. Barbara E. James, who established the CCCC Howard/James Scholarship in Career Technical Education programs. Offerings at the center include:

- Maintenance Fundamentals
- Robotics
- Various Customized Training Programs supporting manufacturing
