Career & College Promise

Step 1: Create an Account and Select "CCP Dual Enrollment"

• Go to the online application portal.
• Click on the option to create an account.
• Fill in your personal information such as name and contact details.
• Look for the section where you need to choose the type of application and select "CCP Dual Enrollment."
• Complete the rest of the form as required.

Step 2: Make an Appointment with your CCP Career Coach

• Find the contact details of your CCP Career Coach listed for your school below.
• Contact your coach to schedule an appointment to discuss the enrollment process after you have completed your application.

Step 3: Wait for Acceptance Notification

• Keep an eye on your email for notifications regarding your application status.
• Check the online portal periodically for any updates on your application.
• Once accepted, you will receive information about the next steps to get started with CCCC.

Step 4: Complete Registration with CCP Career Coach

• When registration opens, your CCP Career Coach will process your registration.
• Follow any additional instructions provided by your CCP Career Coach to finalize your enrollment, and frequently check your email for updates and information.

As you navigate your educational journey, you may encounter various pathways to consider, such as Career and Technical Pathways and College Transfer Pathways. Career and Technical Pathways focus on providing you with specific skills and training for various careers, such as culinary arts, automotive technology, or healthcare. On the other hand, College Transfer Pathways are designed for those interested in completing general education courses before transferring to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor's degree in areas like business, science, or humanities. By exploring these pathways, you can discover which direction aligns best with your interests and future goals. To be eligible for the College Transfer Pathways, students need to fulfill the following requirements:

• Be a NC high school junior or senior when classes begin.
• Have an unweighted GPA of 2.8 or higher in their high school courses.

If the unweighted GPA is below a 2.8, students can demonstrate college readiness in English, reading, and math by achieving the required scores on an authorized assessment or placement test. 

To be eligible for the Career and Technical Education Pathways, students need to fulfill the following requirements: 

• Be a NC high school junior or senior when classes begin.
• Have an unweighted GPA of 2.8 or higher in high school courses.
• If the unweighted GPA is below a 2.8, students can demonstrate college readiness in English, reading, and math by achieving the required scores on an authorized assessment or have the recommendation from the high school principal and college academic officers. Note: Some pathways with universal general education transfer courses (UGETC) do not allow alternative eligibility recommendations.
• However, some pathways with UGETC courses like Veterinary Medical Technology at CCCC do not allow alternative eligibility recommendations.

All students who will be in 9th or 10th grade at the time of their enrollment need to contact Samantha Lane to enroll.

Homeschool students who will be in 11th or 12th grade at the time of their enrollment need to contact our College Access Coordinator, Mary Schmid Carter, to enroll. Please send an email to mschmid@cccc.edu for information on what is required for enrollment. Schedule an appointment with Ms. Schmid Carter.

Private School students who will be in 11th or 12th grade at the time of enrollment need to contact Ben Thomas. Schedule an appointment with Mr. Thomas.
