James is an accomplished educator with over 25 years of experience in higher education, including 16 years at both community colleges and senior institutions. A graduate of Central Michigan University with a Master’s in Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Mount Olive, he has dedicated his career to advising and guiding students in achieving their academic and professional goals.
Throughout his tenure in education, James has been deeply committed to supporting student success, having served on various scholarship and retention committees to enhance the student experience.
He had been recognized for innovation and program development in post-secondary education. Passionate about helping students reach their potential, He continues to make a positive impact in the field of higher education through mentorship, leadership, and unwavering support for student development. In his free time, James enjoys spending time with family, yard work, grilling, and given back to the community.
