Bio
Ashley is a native of Carthage, NC and currently resides in Sanford. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ashley’s passion for a career in education began in 2017 as she taught high school English for 8 years in Moore, Hoke and Durham counties before her transition to advising here at Central Carolina Community College. Ashley is dedicated to being a resource to her community by helping others achieve their aspirations and goals through continued learning. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her son and mother, traveling to visit family and friends, and being a music enthusiast.
