Students will learn about the resources they can ue to establish a transfer network before they even step foot on campus! 

The Career Expo will introduce middle and high school students to universities and colleges. The Expo will also include employers, so that students may explore different career options that might be of interest in the future. The Expo will start at 10 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.

The Job Fair is for employers who are currently hiring individuals interested in seeking a career change – and for job seekers. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend. The Job Fair will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.

Learn from Tania Allen, Associaten Professor of Art + Design and Co-Director of Co-Lab: Mapping as Critical Research Tool at North Carolina State University, about the artistic and narrative form of critical mapping. The audience will be introduced to the concept of critical mapping and given the opportunity to create their own maps in a hands-on activity. This 45-minute lecture is followed by a hands-on 45-minute workshop for participants. This event is a unique learning opportunity for school and community audiences. Supplies will be provided. This project was made possible through partnership with Harnett County and funding from the North Carolina Arts Council.
