  • The Center for Organizational Excellence is excited to invite you to our virtual Adjunct Night! This session will include a welcome from college administration, how to use Blackboard Ultra's new AI assistant, bookstore updates, CCP vs K14 students, and how to connect with adult students. Once you sign up, you will receive a calendar invite that includes the Zoom link for that session. Once you have entered the session, enter your name and department in the chat to count as your record of attendance.

    Connecting with Adult Student -  Dive into this session led by Instructional Designers Lisa Knight and Jaime McLeod where you'll learn actionable tips and techniques to enhance student engagement and academic success. Discover how to foster a supportive learning environment, facilitate meaningful interactions, and inspire your students to make the most of their educational opportunities.

    CCP vs. K14: Which "Promise" Do You Mean? - Do you know the difference between Career & College Promise and Central Carolina Promise? Most people don't! Join Mary Schmid Carter, College Access Coordinator, for a brief overview where we will highlight the similarities and differences of both programs. By the end of the session, you will be a "Promise Pro"!

    Guardian of Your Galaxy: Proactively Protecting Yourself against  Student Complaints - In the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education, faculty face an increasing number of challenges, including student complaints and disputes. This professional development session is designed to equip faculty members with practical strategies to proactively protect themselves from potential grievances through the strategic design of syllabi and assignment instructions.


    Important: Please include your CCCC email address and department when signing up. Adjuncts who are not full-time CCCC employees will receive a $50 stipend for attending.
