This program will provide you with core hands-on building and construction fundamentals needed to get immediate certification as well as OSHA training necessary for employment in construction.

This certification provides foundations of construction along with courses in Building Science, Workplace Safety, Energy Use Analysis, and Modeling Renewable Energy. The construction industry is the largest single-sector contributor to climate change. Changes in this industry are a big deal and with this certificate, students not only learn how to build, but how to build better.

This certificate prepares students to enter the construction industry with a specialized trade in electrical. Layered with CCCC’s construction curriculum, students gain an understanding of how wiring fits within the larger project preparing them to be more fully informed and effective electricians.
