What You'll Learn

The Associate in Science degree program is designed for students who are pursuing a career that requires a four-year degree in mathematics, sciences, or a related field that requires advanced mathematics or science skills. In addition to completing general education coursework requirements, this degree allows students to choose pre-major electives that align with their intended major, transfer university, and career goal. Through North Carolina’s statewide Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA), successful completion of this degree ensures a smooth transfer and guarantees admissions to one of the 16 UNC institutions as long as students follow the appropriate transfer guides.
