SANFORD - The Central Carolina Community College Foundation is sponsoring a musical event featuring the Lee County Community Orchestra and members of the Lee County High School Show Choir.
The event, which includes dinner, will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 24, at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center in Sanford. Cost is $42 per person.
"This is a wonderful and exciting partnership between the Foundation and Orchestra for this philanthropy event," said Emily Hare, CCCC Foundation Executive Director. "Both the Foundation and the Orchestra strive to make impacts on the local community through scholarships and the fine arts."
Lynda Turbeville, a member of the CCCC Foundation Board of Directors, said that the CCCC Foundation is delighted to be partnering with the Lee County Community Orchestra for this exciting event. "It is an opportunity for patrons of both groups to come together to share an entertaining evening of wonderful food and music and also raise money for two very worthwhile causes in our community," she said.
