SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College will host Glitz & Glam weekend workshops for students in grades 5-12.
The workshops will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at the CCCC Harnett Main Campus in Lillington and Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Lee Main Campus in Sanford.
Participants will learn inexpensive ways to create a scarf from an old T-shirt or polo shirt, make a body scrub with some simple ingredients, and design a necklace using STEM, teamwork, and communication skills.
Registration fee is $25, which includes materials, supplies, and a snack, but it does not provide T-shirts. Each participant must bring one or two old T-shirts or polo shirts to the workshop.
