Students participate in CCCC High Tech - High Touch Weekend Workshop

LILLINGTON - Area students were introduced to electronics and engineering in a Robotics workshop held on the Harnett County Campus of Central Carolina Community College on Saturday, April 16, as part of the High Tech - High Touch Weekend Workshops.

Students built a wireless remote control Titan Tank under the guidance of Sandra Castonguay (Lead Instructor, Electronics Engineering), Constance Boahn (Department Chair), Randall Griffith (Mentor), and Courtney Martin and Christopher Martin (first-year Laser students).

Students participating in the workshop were Caleb and Jared Baker, Jacob Bennington, Abbi and William Capps, Avery Chumley, Tyree Coxum, Matthew Dammen, Jr. Davis, Dylan Evans, Anastazia Lozada, Israel McDonald, Sapphira Martin, Eden Rothermund, Nicholas Schnarr, Logan Stroud, Dawson Valley, Calvin Vasquez, and Nathan Wilson, along with parents and family members.
