SANFORD - "Customer Experience: The Chick-fil-A Way" is the name of a workshop to be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 8, at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center, 1801 Nash St., Sanford. Central Carolina Community College, the Sanford Area Growth Alliance, and Chick-fil-A are sponsoring the event.
This workshop will share high-level focus points of why Chick-fil-A excels in customer service and how the model it follows is applicable to any business with any type of constituent. Topics include: Building a Sustainable Culture, Creating a Good-To-Great Customer Experience, and Measuring and Tracking Performance.
Presenters include Kelly Arnold, Blair Lindley, and Wilson Yang from Chick-fil-A, and Meg Moss, of the Sanford Area Growth Alliance - Chamber of Commerce.
"The Sanford Area Growth Alliance - Chamber of Commerce is excited to be a promoting sponsor of CCCC's Customer Service Conference. The customer service of one employee reflects on an entire company. We want customers to return to our Sanford businesses again and again," said Moss, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. "Businesses have often told me that finding employees who naturally understand good customer service is tough. This conference is a great way to help our business community by training both current and potential employees."
Moss noted that training staff in providing excellent customer service can generate positive word-of-mouth for businesses, create happy customers, and encourages people to purchase again. "Good customer service helps businesses grow and thrive," said Moss.
Participants will be able to network and enjoy breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A from 7:45-8:20 a.m.
Cost of the workshop is $35. Register online, visit www.cccc.edu/ecd/find-classes (search Business and Leadership to locate the workshop), or call the CCCC Economic and Community Development Student Support Center at 919-718-7500.
