Click to enlarge,  Safari, a black lab mix resident of Sanford, invites all people-friendly dogs and their owners to the Dog Days of Summer Dog Wash put on by the Veterinary Medical Technology students at Central Carolina Community College. The dog wash runs 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, June 10, in the Vet Med parking lot (northeast end of the Lee Main Campus, 1105 Kelly Drive, Sanford). The cost is: small dogs, $10; medium dogs, $15; and large dogs, $20. Bring proof of a rabies shot. Proceeds will benefit the VMT program.
