Wicker Civic Center. Yeatman receives her Academic Excellence in Laser & PhotonicsrnTechnology Award from Gary Beasley (left), the program’s lead instructor. Yeatman also received the Outstanding Ambassador Service Award, Academic Scholar Athlete, Academic Excellence Award, and selection for inclusion in Who’s Who Among Students in America’s Junior Colleges. She received her Associate in Applied Science in Laser & Photonics Technology at the college’s May 13 commencement. Also pictured are Erick Andino (bottom center), and Tommy Bridges Jr. (bottom right), both of Lee County, who were recognized for inclusion in Who’s Who Among Students in America’s Junior Colleges. Andino also received the Outstanding Student in Electronics Engineering Technology Award and Bridges, the Academic Excellence in Business Administration Award. Andino received his Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology and Bridges, his AAS in Business Administration, at the May 13 commencement.

SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College honored members of its graduating class during the Academic Excellence Awards program May 5 at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center.

Students were recognized for excellence by the academic programs, as well as for serving as college Ambassadors, excelling in both academics and sports, and being honored in Who's Who Among Students in America's Junior Colleges.
