Click to enlarge,  The Jonesboro Center of Central Carolina Community College held a Teacher Appreciation Celebration for its evening class teachers on Thursday, Oct. 1. Each teacher and assistant teacher was presented a large star, signifying they were a ‘Star for a Day,’ and received recognition for a job well done. Their students planned the presentations and refreshments. The day program teachers were honored at a Teacher Appreciation Day on Sept. 24. The Jonesboro Center offers the college’s Adult High School/GED, English as a Second Language, Compensatory Education, and Human Resources Development programs in Lee County.
