CCCC Manicurist course sign-ups begin

SANFORD — A daytime Manicurist Technician course will be offered by Central Carolina Community College’s Lee County Continuing Education Department beginning Feb. 24. Registration begins immediately and space is limited to eight students per class. The course runs 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Feb. 24-June 4.
This comprehensive course provides instruction and clinical practice in manicuring, nail building (application and maintenance of artificial nails) and foot pedicures. The course content includes nail anatomy, disorders of nails, and irregularities, etc.
Those completing the course may sit for the state exam through the N.C. Cosmetic Arts Examiners to become licensed. Income generated in this field varies.
