SANFORD, N.C. - Central Carolina Community College will host a Veterans Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the E. Eugene Moore Manufacturing and Biotech Solutions Center, 2101 Nash St., in Sanford, N.C.

The event is open to the public.

Guest speaker will be Sharjuan Burgos, Army Major (retired), who is Outreach Director for the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Cornerstone in Fayetteville, N.C.

Jennifer Dillon, CCCC Director of TRiO Veterans Upward Bound and Military Affiliated Initiatives, says the ceremony is an important way for the college to recognize its own veterans and show others across the community that the college supports them and offers a welcoming educational opportunity during and after their military service.
