New Comprehensive Workshop Series to Empower Local Entrepreneurs

Pittsboro, N.C. - The Town of Pittsboro and the Central Carolina Community College Small Business Center (SBC) proudly announce the inauguration of the Downtown Pittsboro Business Academy, a joint initiative aimed at providing essential support and resources to local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Downtown Pittsboro Business Academy represents a collaborative effort between the Chatham SBC and the Town of Pittsboro, driven by a shared commitment to fostering a vibrant and thriving business community. With a diverse curriculum tailored to address the specific needs of entrepreneurs, this academy aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate today's competitive market landscape successfully.

The cornerstone of the Downtown Pittsboro Business Academy is a dynamic workshop series designed to delve into key aspects of business development and management. The series is structured as follows:

05/29/2024: BRAND DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT- In this session, participants will explore the power of branding and its profound impact on consumer behavior. Through a deep dive into branding fundamentals and consumer psychology, attendees will gain practical insights and actionable strategies for developing a brand that resonates authentically with their target audience, fostering loyalty, trust, and driving growth.

06/05/2024: CONSUMER PSYCHOLOGY & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE- Participants will delve into the intersection of psychology and marketing, gaining a deep understanding of human behavior and emotional branding. Equipped with the reTRUST Framework, attendees will learn to create impactful marketing campaigns that build trust, engagement, and lasting connections with consumers, leaving a lasting impact on their target audience.

06/12/2024: FINANCIAL DECISION-MAKING & PRICING STRATEGY- This session explores the psychology behind pricing strategies and financial decision-making, empowering participants to optimize their pricing strategy for maximum impact. Attendees will unravel the complex web of factors influencing consumer perceptions of value and learn to leverage cognitive biases to their advantage.

06/19/2024: BEHAVIORAL ECONOMICS, NEUROMARKETING & BIOMETRIC RESEARCH- Participants will delve into behavioral economics and neuromarketing, uncovering the hidden triggers that influence purchasing behavior at a neurological level. Armed with practical insights, attendees will learn to implement effective behavioral interventions in their marketing and sales efforts, driving conversions and cultivating long-lasting brand loyalty.

WEEK 5: SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING-RETARGETING, GEOFENCING & KEYWORDING- The workshop series culminates in a session that bridges the gap between cutting-edge technology and behavioral science. Participants will explore how behavioral science principles can revolutionize search engine marketing, leveraging strategies such as retargeting and geofencing to create personalized experiences that drive foot traffic and e-commerce conversions in real-time.
