SANFORD, N.C. - Central Carolina Community College celebrated the 16th Dental Hygiene graduating class at the annual pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 2, at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic & Conference Center.

Class members are Desiree Adame of Angier, Camila Barry of Sanford, Caroline Frazer of Sanford, Sarai Gonzalez of Siler City, Naz Harris of Aberdeen, Avery Headen of Siler City, Kara Howes of Raleigh, Caitlyn Jones of Fuquay-Varina, Amelia Leonard of Ramseur, Jinhee Limm of Apex, Evelyn Madrigales of Angier, Ava Morency of Chapel Hill, Katherine Pena of Fuquay-Varina, Sarah Petty of Whispering Pines, Abigail Quick of Carthage, Cady Shackelford of Benson, Yannely Torres of Sanford, and Krystal Welch of Sanford.

Student class speakers were Krystal Welch, Class President, and Caitlyn Jones, Class Vice President. Slide show was presented by Avery Headen, Class Historian, and Kara Howes, Class Secretary. Introduction of graduates and awards were by Dental faculty members Vicky Wesner, Macy Woods, and Crystal Sanders.

Vicky Wesner presented the welcome. Angie Wood led Recitation of Pledge.
