CCCC will host Building Performance Workforce Development Summit

SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College will host the Building Performance Workforce Development Summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center in Pittsboro. The event is sponsored by the North Carolina Building Performance Association (NCBPA) and the North Carolina Community College System.

This is a one-day public-private event offering educational sessions, networking opportunities and planning meetings to inform stakeholders and develop resources that connect community college students to entry-level jobs and lasting career opportunities in North Carolina's fast-growing building performance industry.

The Summit welcomes a wide variety of stakeholders involved and interested in supporting community college students finding job and career opportunities in North Carolina's building performance industry, according to the NCBPA website.

Registration is open to all interested parties, with no cost for community college faculty and for nonprofit and government workers. The cost is $75 per person for private industry professionals.
