CCCC's Anna Trotter, Colby Day participate in national event

SANFORD - Anna Trotter and Colby Day represented Central Carolina Community College at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Cross Country Championships on Nov. 2 at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass.

Anna Trotter, of Pittsboro, N.C., finished 46th out of 121 runners with a time of 22:59 in the women's championships.

Colby Day, of Frisco, N.C., finished 124th out of 200 runners with a time of 31:48 in the men's championships.

Last year, Britt Lehman became the first CCCC cross country athlete to participate in the national championship meet.
