Six newcomers join CCCC men's basketball program

SANFORD - Central Carolina Community College has signed six more newcomers to the men's basketball program.

The newest signees are Christian Harris (East Forsyth High School, Kernersville), Raequane Key (Parkland High School, Winston-Salem), Montell Moore (Cape Fear High School, Fayetteville), Jackson Reid (Panther Creek High School, Cary), CJ Stone (Lee County High School, Sanford), and Quintin Welch (Walkertown High School, Walkertown).

These newcomers join previous signees Jamar Butler and Darnell Carver, of Western Harnett High School, as well as Rodney Alston Jr., of Rocky Mount High School in Rocky Mount, Larry Barnes, of Metrolina Christian Academy in Indian Trail, and Russell Bradley, of Carver High School in Winston-Salem.

The CCCC men's basketball season opens Nov. 2-3 when the Cougars play at the Sandhills Invitational.
