Scholarship available for CCCC Creative Writing program

PITTSBORO - The Central Carolina Community College Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the new Creative Writing Scholarship (CWS) fund.
The CWS Scholarship will be awarded twice annually, to one student in the spring semester and one student in the fall semester, who is interested in pursuing creative writing as a means of personal or professional enrichment, and who needs financial assistance. This financial award will cover the cost of the course registration, up to $100, for any Non-Credit Continuing Education Creative Writing Program (CWP) course. The first CWS Scholarship will be awarded for the Fall 2018 semester. Fall 2018 application deadline is June 29.

The CCCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with, but independent of, the college. It receives donations of money and equipment on behalf of CCCC and uses them to promote the educational mission of the college and assist students through scholarships and grants.
