Four CCCC students chosen for UNC Greensboro scholarship awards

Click to enlarge,  Four Central Carolina Community College students are inaugural recipients of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro/ Community College Presidents' Scholarship Awards. These students were selected from among those CCCC students transferring to UNC-Greensboro in the fall of 2018 to complete baccalaureate degree programs. All were chosen because of exceptional scholarship and leadership. Recipients of this award receive a partial scholarship and the waiver of application fees thanks to UNC Greensboro. The students are, left to right: Nicole Thompson (Sanford), who will study Accounting; Skylar Jones (Sanford), who will study Psychology; Shana Johnson (Siler City), who will study Sociology; and Michaela Fann-Smith (Sanford), who will study Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
