Doni Shepard Steele, of Siler City, with her Bacon Pimento Cheese Bombs, won the People's Choice Award at the Central Carolina Community College 3rd Annual Culinary Showcase. The event, featuring dishes by Culinary & Hospitality Arts students represented from Chatham, Harnett, and Lee counties, was held April 11th on the Central Carolina Community College Lee Main Campus in Sanford.
