Chinese artist teaches calligraphy to CCCC students

Central Carolina Community College student Haley Atkins (front, right), of Sanford, receives expert instruction on the art of Chinese calligraphy from artist Feiyan Liu, vice president of the Sichuan Yangtze Art Academy in the People's Republic of China, as fellow student Olivia Yarborough (left) watches. The lesson took place during a World Civilizations class at the college. Liu was in Sanford visiting her daughter, Guan Wang, CCCC Confucius Classroom instructor.
