Volunteer fire fighters earn certification at CCCC Fire Academy

The Fire Academy of Central Carolina Community College graduated 13 cadets during an April 1 ceremony at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center. All were already volunteer fire fighters at central North Carolina fire departments and are now eligible to be hired as certified fire fighters. The graduates, their sponsoring departments and their trainers are (front, from left) Lt.
