CCCC opens Career Readiness Lab at Lee County Library

They are at the college's new Career Readiness Lab in Lee County's Suzanne Reeves Library, 107 Hawkins Ave. A kickoff for the new lab will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. The public is invited. The lab, part of the college's Continuing Education Department, offers skill training and opportunities in job searching, exploring labor market information, Career Readiness Certification preparation and exams, and preparing cover letters, resumes, thank-you letters, and online applications. The lab is open on a walk-in basis from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesdays. Registration on-site is required to use the resources.
