Visit downtown Pittsboro and you can't miss Myles Friedman's Circle City Books & Music store - it's the one at 121 Hillsboro St. with the gigantic mural of books on the side wall. Friedman's store offers used and rare books as well as records and CDs. In getting set up, he worked with Gary Kibler, director of Central Carolina Community College's Small Business Center, in Pittsboro, to be certain he had a workable plan and met city and county requirements for businesses.
