CCCC program helps strengthen workforce for employers

Central Carolina Community College’s Human Resources Development Department hosted an informational session for area business and community leaders May 14 at the college’s Harnett County Campus. There, they learned about the services HRD offers to improve people’s workforce-ready skills. Pictured (from left) are Nicole Brown, instructor/coordinator of the HRD program at CCCC's Harnett County campus; former HRD student Delores Yeager, who is now earning an associate degree in Office Administration and is employed with the Lillington Chamber of Commerce; Pat Fitzgerald, aide to Congresswoman Renee Ellmers; and Kenny Cabral, Human Resources director for Smithfield Packing in Clinton, who uses the college’s HRD program to improve his workforce.
