CCCC REAL graduates seven entrepreneurs

Seven would-be entrepreneurs graduated Dec. 12 from Central Carolina Community College's Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (REAL) program. The 16-week program trains people with the skills to start their own small businesses. It is offered in partnership with N.C. REAL Enterprises, a non-profit organization dedicated to small business development in North Carolina. Those receiving their REAL certificates were (front, from left) Carolyn Porter, of Harnett County; Elizabeth McCormick and Pauline Gray, of Lee County; Jennifer Owen, of Cumberland County; and Shari Barnett, of Chatham County; and (back, from left) Kimlee Porrazzo, of Harnett County; and Sybil Brazell, of Lee County.
