CCCC graduates 16 in law enforcement

Central Carolina Community College's Basic Law Enforcement Training Program graduated 16 cadets at a ceremony Dec. 19 at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center. Receiving their certificates were (from left) Kaitlyn Caldwell, of Angier; Bridget Daniel, of Pittsboro; Marvedda Chezem, of Lillington; Charleton Carter and Christopher Holt, both of Cameron; Stephen Caviness, of Sanford; Kathryn Hartsell, of Broadway; Benjamin Bankert, of Apex; BLET program director Robert Powell; and graduates Johnathan Edwards, of Dunn; Christopher Carroll, of Siler City; Patrick Holmes, of Spring Lake; Jonathan Edell, of Pittsboro; William Heck and John Hawley, both of Sanford; Rebecca Gipson, of Falcon; and Kurt Ailerson Jr., of Sanford. All the graduates are qualified to be certified law enforcement officers in North Carolina.
