CCCC Foundation Golf Classic a winner

The Central Carolina Community College Foundation’s 23rd Annual Golf Classic on Sept. 19 at Sanford Golf Course was a great time and big success. The event raised about $36,000 for the Foundation to use for student scholarships and other activities that advance the college’s educational mission. Forty teams totaling 160 players vied to be best in the morning and afternoon Captain’s Choice flights. The first place winner in the morning first flight was the foursome of (from left) Dale Bryant, Dave Neff, Jack Radley and Bobby Powell, sponsored by Bobby and Linda Powell, of Lee County.
