LEC interviews potential students

Lee Early College interviewed 104 eighth graders Feb. 22 as candidates for the approximately 70 slots in LEC's 2012-13 freshman class. Principal Robert Biehl (left) and counselor Corina Murray wait with candidates before they are called up for their interviews. LEC, located on the Lee County Campus of Central Carolina Community College, is a collaborative effort between Lee County Schools and CCCC. Students start as ninth graders and can complete a high school diploma and an associate degree within five years at no cost.
