The Central Carolina Community College Welding program had 16 of its students win honors in the North Carolina SkillsUSA virtual championships.
Alex Buitrago of Central Carolina Community College, who finished first in the Welding Sculpture category in the SkillsUSA state competition, holds his entry - a replica of a SR-71 Blackbird military jet.
