Keshonna Snead - Keshonna Snead, of Harnett County, has been named the Triangle South Workforce Development Board's Outstanding WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Adult Award recipient for 2020. She earned her degree from Central Carolina Community College and is employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at a local health center.

Seth Cobler - Seth Cobler, of Chatham County, has been named the Triangle South Workforce Development Board's Outstanding WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Dislocated Worker Award recipient for 2020. He is currently employed as a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Javeer Fret - Javeer Fret, of Harnett County, has been named the Triangle South Workforce Development Board's Outstanding WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) In-School Youth Award recipient for 2020. He earned his high school diploma in 2020 and plans to attend college and earn a degree in Computer Information Technology.

Marquise Thomas - Marquise Thomas, of Lee County, has been named the Triangle South Workforce Development Board's Outstanding WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Out-of-School Youth Award recipient for 2020. He earned his Barbering Degree from Sanford Barber College and is now working as an apprentice.

Mertek Solutions - Mertek Solutions, of Lee County, has been named the Triangle South Workforce Development Board's Outstanding Employer Award recipient for 2020. Mertek, under the leadership of president Jerry Pedley, maintains a leadership role in local workforce system efforts with high levels of engagement with the Triangle South Workforce Development Board and Central Carolina Community College in areas such as career pathways, apprenticeships, internships, STEM education, and manufacturing.

Sandra Webster - Sandra Webster, of Sampson County, has been named the Triangle South Workforce Development Board's Outstanding NCWorks Career Center Staff recipient for 2020. In Program Year 2019, her office successfully referred 486 people to jobs.
