Belcher, who is a Biology instructor and has taught at CCCC since 2015, constitutes an unselfish devotion to students by contributing to their success by offering guidance as they begin their journey at CCCC. Ty Stumpf (right) has been named Central Carolina Community College Advisor of the Year. He is pictured with Scott Byington, CCCC Dean of Arts, Sciences & Advising. Stumpf has been an advisor in the Associate in Arts (A.A.) program since 2001 and has been the program's chair since 2009. In his capacity as chair, Stumpf trains incoming A.A. advisors, he distributes materials to them, and mentors them as needed.
