Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology
The Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology Program at CCCC prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct and finish automobile bodies, fenders, and external features. The program includes instruction in structural analysis, damage repair, nonstructural analysis, mechanical and electrical components, plastics and adhesives, painting and refinishing techniques, damage analysis and estimating.
The Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology Diploma program is offered during the day in our brand new facility located in the Western Harnett Center. This newly constructed facility includes classrooms, automotive bays, and a new paint booth, all with the latest state of the art technology.
Graduates will be prepared for entry level employment in the collision repair field in body shops, dealerships, and repair shops. The employment prospects for the collision repair field are strong. Demand for collision repair technicians is expected to increase by double digit percentages over the next few years in both the region and the state.
