"I don't think I would be making the salary I do without the program training at CCCC."
Quinton Spears keeps busy at his job - and he loves it! Quinton is a biomedical equipment repair technician with a company that is a nationwide provider of service and repair for emergency and medical equipment.
Spears, of Bunnlevel, received his Associate of Arts in Laser and Photonics Technology, as well as an Electronics Engineering Technology certificate, from Central Carolina Community College in 2005.
"Because of my education, I now service and repair all types of operating room equipment, including endoscopy cameras, and surgical equipment," he said. "I service such a variety of medical equipment that it would be impossible for me to list all the types."
He credits his CCCC education with his success and his ability to earn a salary he could only have dreamed of without it.
"The Laser and Photonics program at CCCC qualified me," he said. "I don't think I would be making the salary I do without the program training at CCCC."
