PITTSBORO - The Central Carolina Community College School of Dental Hygiene held its 2018 Pinning Ceremony on May 8 at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center in Pittsboro.
Vicky Wesner, CCCC Department Chair of Dental Programs, welcomed those attending the ceremony. "It is my hope that each of these sweet, dear ladies continue to strive for excellence, not only in the workplace, but in every aspect of their lives," said Wesner, who also introduced the Sigma Phi Delta Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
Class President Monica Parman and Class Historian Autumn Shavor gave opening remarks. Cherese Stocum was Student Class Speaker.
Danielle Bruner, CCCC Dental Hygiene Clinical Coordinator/Instructor, presented Special Awards and offered Words of Encouragement.
Introduction of Graduates was by Vicky Wesner, Danielle Bruner, and Kim Langston, CCCC Dental Hygiene Instructor.
Andrea Faust led the graduates in the Recitation of the Dental Hygienist's Pledge.
Graduating students are Yaveshia Buie (Sanford), Brooke Godfrey (Sanford), Alyssia Medina (Sanford), Monica Parman (Cameron), Tara Paz (Aberdeen), Kimberly Pearson (Sanford), Yazmin Reynoso (Sanford), Felicia Richards (Angier), Autumn Shavor (Erwin), Amanda Shuler (Sanford), Sadesia Steadwell (Carthage), Cherese Stocum (West End), Rebecca Walter (Pinehurst), Briana Willett (Siler City), and Frankie Wise (Sanford).
